Driving through Belgium I couldn’t help finding it a most curious place. At the crossroads of Western Europe it not only accommodates a dense road system and population, it’s also devoid of a clear general plan. Experiencing a patchwork of different ideas looking at the landscape of Belgium, I felt I had to do a record of the fragments visually laid out for me. Inspiration came from the book “Grand Travaux Inutil” but none of the these sites mentioned in the book made it to the series Topobelgica.
