At the height of spring the sun is at the highest angle in the sky. Solstice bringing abundant sun rays to plants who soak it up to produce a fresh vibrant green only to be experienced in this specific period.
Above the tree line on the tops of a mountain where one would expect it to be bare through exposure to the elements, we find tough resistant weeds that colour these places a green nowhere to be seen. A silent green as the wind cannot make sound on it. Altos verdes traverses the heights of the North of Spain recording that uncompromising green.
